Week 5

We’re already in week 5. Time really flies and I must say I hate that at the moment... The pups had another exciting week full of new things.
First of all the puppyvisits. The potential new owners all stopped by for a visit last week to see if that ‘click’ was there. All the meetings went well and were very nice so by the end of the week all the pups had new homes. I really believe these new owners are the right match for the pups and that they will give them all great new homes. In about 3 weeks the first one will leave us but lets not think about that to much right now...
The playing outside is also something we worked on this week. With this cold Dutch weather the pups didn’t like it at all last week so it was a hard job of getting them used to that. But yesterday we had a breakthrough! All except for one pup were running through our backyard and playing yesterday afternoon. So they are beginning to learn that playing outside is fun.
The vacuum cleaner is also something had their first meeting with last week. And boy was that exciting! They though it was really interesting at first but as that thing came closer and closer they all started to get spooked... Hihi!
Wednesday evening the pups were cut of their milk (I mean the milk out of the bottle that I gave them everyday)... So that took some getting used to! But because we started to give the pups more food the day before it really was time. Thankfully the transition went great and we didn’t have any big problems.
Today also was a busy day for the little ones because some family and their 5 year old daughter stopped bij for a visit. And the pups loved it! They played inside and outside and had a blast the whole day.
And then some other great news... The new names of the puppy’s are official (I mean their ‘callingnames’ of course)!  Curious? Then have a look below...

Curious Eevee Special Princess - Eevee

Eevee is still called Eevee so that’s easy. She listens tot hat name also already and Abby knows it so it’s easy for all of us.
Eevee also stayed herself very much this week. Meaning by that that’s she’s still the one who’s first to explore things and finds herself too old for the rest of the little ones. Another character trait that she developed this week is the arranging one, just like her mommy. Whenever something happens here Eevee is sitting up to see what’s going on. She thinks she’s old enough to arrange all that... Hihi!
The garden was also a big adventure for Eevee. She thought is was exciting and scary at the same time. But she learned that it’s pretty cool out there this week so Friday she went all crazy. She saw Ashley and Abby and wanted to be just like them! Ever since then she’s been running through our backyard loving it.
Eevee still knows what she wants. She listens but can also be very cocky still. This week she found out mommy had some milk for herself in the kitchen... Jammy! And when she was on the kitchen counter later that week she found mommy’s food there as well. And she took a big bite!
Eevee though the visit of my niece was great too! She loved playing with her and didn’t thought any of it was scary at all. A real childlover like her mommy...

Ambitious Phione Special Princess - Snowy

Phione turned into Snowy this week. How appropriate don’t you think? White as snow and it also has a resemblance to Phione so that’s easy as well. So a beautiful name for this little girl.
Snowy got in touch with her wild side this week! She discovered that what her big sister can she can do just as well so she also decided that the puppypen was not big enough for her anymore this week. Those two have played with each other all week long and although she loves the guys as well big sister Eevee is really her BFF. So that goodbye is gonna be though...
Snowy can be scared quickly sometimes although I do wonder how much of that is real and how much of that is an act. For example the outside playing, she really was a dramaqueen there screaming and shaking. But when she say all the others play Friday everything went away and she became really active as well. So...
Snowy also had a nice week with her mommy. She loves playing with her and can’t stay away from her. She can play on her own great as well but she’s a very social little girl also. Follow and come is a command she does from time to time as well already also so we have a bright little girl on our hands...

Lightning Raichu Special Princess - BeeGee

Raichu is now BeeGee, though little BeeGee. Behind this name is a story. His future owner has a beagle so she wanted that breed to be part of the name for the new puppy. So BeeGee! Well and since I’m a big Saturday Night Fever fan I love it as well.
BeeGee has a bit of a split personality I think, hihi. Inside the house he’s all though and does whatever he wants but outside... Outside he’s such a chicken, he barely dares to move and just sits there shaking and moaning. Even when all his brothers and sisters were playing he still didn’t dare to move. Poor little fella... What it is I don’t know but he just hates the outside at the moment. But Saturday we had a little breakthrough, he started to play and move a little so there is already progress.
BeeGee also loves to do things he actually is not allowed to do. For example biting on cables. No matter how many times you say no he just runs back immediately. And when he looks at you then after with those puppydog eyes... Oh that’s just great, hihi!

Playful Phanpy Special Princess - Mojo

Our little Phanpy is now Mojo. Mojo a name that we all know... My mom though immediately of Austing Powers when she heard it and in my head the name Mojo Jojo (from the Powerpuff Girls) popped up. Ah well doesn’t matter where it came from but I love it. It really suits Phanpy also, I don’t know why but it just does...
Mojo continued to plan his escape from the puppypen this week and has done it many times since then as well, hihi. And playing, he did al lot of that too! Wow can that boy play, he has ‘crazy moments’ as we call it at the moment. He just runs through the house like a maniac then and does whatever he likes, hahaha.
Mojo didn’t like the garden at all at first. Until Friday... He came outside moaning and shaking but then he saw the others play. And slowly he started to join them and have fun. It did take him a while but when he finally discovered how fun it could be... Boy did he have fun!
Mojo did became a bit more busy this week, he’s more playful and loves his stuffed animals. He also likes to play with the others but can entertain himself just fine as well. He can also stare at you with such a great look on his face. He’s really a people person dog I believe...

Prince Manaphy Special Princess - Sky

Our prince Manaphy became Sky this week. A name I personally had on my list for names as well so that I love. As you all know I use names from animated series for the pedigree names and one of the series on my shortlist was Winx. And in that cartoon you have prince Sky so how cute... Our prince became another royal, hihi!
Sky knows his name already so he sometimes even comes when you call him. Maybe that’s because he’s an fanatic newpaper-eater so he has been called for that many times this week.
Sky has developed a character trait from his mom this week. The ‘always cheerful’ trait, hihi. Boy that boy can be happy and cheerful. He likes everything, his siblings, mom, ‘auntie’ Ash, toys... Even Saturday when he didn’t have such a great day he kept on wiggling his tail and be happy as always. So cute!
The meeting the outside was the same way. It was like a switch went on this week and all of a sudden everything wasn’t scary anymore but fun. A nice example for the other pups...
Sky loves his stuffed animals by the way. He drags them all through the house and sees them as his ‘preys’. He also still is a big cuddle and loves to kiss. Another trait he got from his mom...

Cute Buneary Special Princess - Kai'len

And then we have little Kai, our actually Kai’len. Buneary was a name we doubted about from the start. But we thought it was so cute that we chose it. But easy to call wasn’t the case with this name at all. Kai is and suites our little man also just great so we like it very much.
Kai still is a bit behind in comparison to the rest. He’s still the last one to be awake when the other ones are already playing for a long time and he still is a bit of a loner. Not that he minds because he loves his stuffed animals and paws to chew on!
Kai has really become an though little guy to handle this week. Whenever you don’t watch him he’s chewing on a cable or trying to get underneath a big chair. He really does those thing the whole day through but when you take one look at that little face of him...
Kai was the bravest one in the backyard, something that surprised us all. He loves waggling through the backyard and play with the others there.
Eating is a bit of an disaster with him. He loves water, Rodi he eats great as well but those new pellets... No he just doesn’t want to eat them! So Friday we finally we’re able to make them nice enough for him to eat. Ok it takes him about 15 minutes to eat them all but there is progress...

And with that I close the puppy dairy’s of this week. A week full of new things, something that next week will be full of as well! We have a couple of 2nd puppyvisits planned with the new owners and also much more plans for the little ones. We’re very exited to see how they will develop the next couple of weeks and how they will react to all that new stuff that’s coming towards them But more about that next week...
And as usual some pictures and movies can be found down here and on my Youtube page and the pups page (especially in the photoalbum are some nice new pics of the pups so have a look there if you can)...
