Week 7
And we’re already in week 7, the last week that all of the pups will be here together. Because in week 8 the first pup is going to be leaving us. Oh the though alone, the countdown has really begun... Terrible! A lot of people don’t understand how that is for the breeder. Someone described it so me perfectly a while back. You’re happy with the peace and quit that’s back into your home when the pups are gone but you’re sad because of all the peace and quietness around you when you wake up the next day... That’s really what it’s like. I’m starting to notice that my body is giving up, I’m barely making it through the week. But still... Still I would love to keep these pups with me for weeks to come, months to come. Because I’m enjoying them so much, they give me so much love and energy. But I know that love and energy isn’t for me to take, I know I have 5 exciting new puppy owners waiting for their new puppy to come home. And those people are the ones I’m doing this for, those are the ones who make it all right for me again...
This week had been an exciting week for the pups. Starting Monday with a visit to the vets office... My friend could thankfully come along so we were with 3 people there and we really needed that. All the pups in the buggy in the car, Abby on the passenger seat (because she of course had to come with them to make it less scary), don’t even ask me how I sat in that car. Hahaha! But it went perfectly. On the way back home the pups were sleeping in the car and at the vet’s office they behaved like angels. Of course they were popular and we’re cuddled good by the vet who loved them. But unfortunately a big checkup and shot was part of the deal as well. Everything looked fine although the mans balls were a bit hard to find, but they are of course a bit small for that. But nothing to worry about and the shots went fine as well!
After that all it was time for socialization of course. And we spent a lot of time on that. To begin with Wednesday, when the pups went for their first stroll outside. In groups of 2 at the front of our home just for a couple of minutes to get them used to a leash. Especially the cars driving by were an attraction alone but what were does little ones brave. They did so well, above expectations (as you can see in the pictures down here)!

Thurday we had a little break from socialization and spend some time on the dairy pictures of this week because there wasn't much time for that later in the week. And I must say I'm sooo proud off this pictures, they may even be the greatest dairy pictures yet. But well who am I to judge, maybe other don't even like them hihi...
Friday the break was over, because Friday was the day we were preparing the pups for on Wednesday. That's because Friday we went downtown with the little ones (again with the help of my friend, mommy and ‘auntie’ Ash stayed home with grandma this time so we could keep an close eye on the pups) to socialize them there... And what an adventure that was for them. Some pups though it was a little scary at first but eventually the all were walking downtown with their tails held high and their noses in the air. The loved the attention and exciting things to see. And what a crowd we had... Dozens of people standing all around us calling their family members saying they should come downtown because of us. Crazy! We stayed downtown for about an hour but most of that time the pups slept in their buggy dreaming of everything they saw. It was an great success for us, the pups and I’m guessing also for the people shopping downtown cause we really were an attraction there. Photo’s and video of our trip can be found at the bottom of this page but first let’s start off with the personal diary’s of this week...
Curious Eevee Special Princess - Eevee

Eevee, our smileyface. This little lady is (almost) afraid of nothing, unbelievable how ‘free’ she is. Lovely! The visit to the vet on Monday, great adventure because she got to walk in the waiting room... The walk outside our front door on Wednesday, great because that was a new place to explore... And the downtown walk on Friday, totally awesome because all those people there liked her and gave her attention and there was so much to see (balloons, bikes, etc)! She really had a great time this week. Although she was a bit of a nag sometimes. Because she wanted to walk the whole entire trip downtown, cause she wanted to see everything. Even when she couldn’t even keep her eyes open decently she still kept on barking to get out of the buggy. But eventually she broke down and went to sleep in the stroller.
Eevee of course did a lot of bad things to this week. Ah well it’s has come to a point now that we would worry that something is wrong if she doesn’t misbehave once in a while, hahaha... For example we found her Thursday evening stuck in the waterbowl holder. We turned around for a second to refresh the water and we don’t know how she did it but when we turned around she was walking with that holder around her waist.
Yeah she really is something. And she clearly doesn’t like the puppypen anymore, she wants freedom. She isn’t a baby anymore she’s a big dog she thinks. And that’s how she behaves. For example Friday went we went for that walk we ran into a collie, well she practically ran straight at him (of course we didn’t let her).
So we’re expecting a lit of adventures from this little one, she’s all ready to explore the big world. But are we, hihi...

Ambitious Phione Special Princess - Snowy

Snowy our little dramaqueen, as you can see on the picture above this text... Hihi! This was a very exciting week for her. Sometimes a little bit overwhelming but eventually always fun...
The vet was a bit scary. At first she was shaking and didn’t like it at all but soon the kisses came and eventually she became more lose. She quickly realized that being scared wasn’t gonna help her at all so she decided to take a nap and wait for what was to come that way.
Wednesday during the first walk on a leash she again needed to loosen up at the beginning. But she had brave sister Eevee with her and thankfully she liked that so much that she quickly started to copy things she did. So by the end of that walk she was walking great with her tail in the air.
And Friday actually went the same way as Wednesday. At first it was al pretty scary and exciting but eventually she jumped her siblings and walked like she did it all many times before there through that downtown alley. So that’s what I mean with dramaqueen, hahaha...
Snowy is also a bit of a mommylover. Both girls are actually. Those 2 just love Abby. The boys do too, but just not like the girls do. Snowy loves the attention she gets from mommy and has so much fun while playing with her. But her sister is a good 2nd and other wise she can always tease some of her brothers.
Yeah this girl is a social one because she loves the attention that she gets from us as well, so it’s great she’s not going to an empty home but will keep having people and dogs around her...

Lightning Raichu Special Princess - BeeGee

Our little though guy and scaredy-cat all in one. This week was again very double for him. Fun but at the same time also a bit scary sometimes. He didn’t like the vet at all but he got some cuddles there so... Let’s just say that broke the ice. Wednesday the walk went pretty ok. He needed to be convinced that walking when someone else says you should can be fun but ones he got that part down he had a great time! Friday was a little harder. At first he didn’t want to make a step. He wasn’t exactly scared, he just didn’t want to walk. He rather sat at the middle of the centre plaza staring at everybody. Why walk if you can sit down hé. But eventually he found out that walking could be fun as well so thanks to some crazy sounds my friend made and her hard work he eventually walked and had a great time...
Here at home BeeGee is becoming more cheeky when it comes to attention. He loves attention and wants all of it. And when someone else gets it well then you just bark or howl. And when that doesn’t work you always have the puppyface. And that last one works great, hihi...
BeeGee can be a bit wild when it comes to playing. He enjoys it so much that he gets caught up in it. Growling, dragging, it all is just part of the game for him. Luckily the rest feels the same way so hé as long as they all like it. He sure is having a lot of fun with his siblings teasing them...

Playful Phanpy Special Princess - Mojo

For Mojo the visit to the vet wasn’t all that great. He wasn’t that scared, but during the shot he was the only one who screamed a bit. Of course not that strange because of that chipping incident the week before. And luckily just like then that sad feeling went away soon and there was cheerful Mojo again.
The walk outside on Wednesday went ok... He thought it was great, only that leash was such a annoying thing. It took him a while to get used to that but like I said before the walking itself went actually great so he soon found out what we wanted from him and walked along with us. Friday went the same way but he soon knew again what we wanted of him and off he went excited and all to all those people around him nagging for attention.
Mojo is still really a people dog. As soon as there are people over here he starts jumping and asking for attention. He really loves people which can sometimes be a bit annoying. Something we gotta work on with him... Hihi, no but he’s also such a sweetheart who starts liking you the minute he gets into your arms.
The photoshoot with Mojo and his mom went not that great. Mister Mojo didn’t want to sit still and liked teasing his mommy a lot more. But at some point she had enough because well she is the mommy here so she decides what can’t and cannot be done. But it eventually all turned out great as you can all see here.
Mojo can be just like his big brother a little bit wild sometimes when it comes to playing. And he’s also very good at sneaking up on others. I think he’s an very intelligent dog who picks up things very fast and learns from others real soon, I’m very curious to see how that will go when he grows up...

Prince Manaphy Special Princess - Sky

Sky, our cheerful little guy. He enjoyed all the attention also so much this week. The vet’s examination... Great because he got a belly tickle (although that wasn’t the reason he was touched there, hihi). He didn’t even noticed the shot because he was already halfway to dreamland. And then on top off that all his future family stopped by for a visit also that evening, what more can you wish for?!
And walking outside here at the front of our house, great something new to discover! Waggling his tail he walked outside not really understanding the meaning of it all. He still had the impression that he has to walk himself instead of us walking him... But that will be ok in time, hahaha.
And downtown... Oh well that was even more amazing. Together with his sister Eevee he was screaming the loudest to get out and be out at all times. And he went on for quite a while... Eventually we put him back into the stroller because he was out way to long, he liked everything so much. But it was soon clear that he was also pretty tired because within a minute he was gone.
Sky has that ‘always look on the bright side of life’ attitude, he enjoys the little stuff so much. With his tail in the air and those cute little twinkled eyes... Oh lovely! He has such a special appearance, such an special face. Some love it some don’t have anything with it. But his appearance in my eyes (and I know I’m a bit biased) is beautiful.
Sky loved taking pictures with his mom. And he did great. He was a model! No bullying, no just sitting close to mommy and just enjoying being with her. Wonderful to see... Life without mom is gonna be different for him. But I know for sure that he won’t be sad about that for long because he is going to such a great family who love him already so much...

Cute Buneary Special Princess - Kai'len

Kai, our little dwarf Kai’len. Yeah I just keep calling him that (in Dutch), that’s just became his nickname. Because he’s just such a cute little thing, hihi.
Kai of course also had a special week. Starting with the vet, she just melted when she saw him coming out of the stroller. She said literally ‘oh he fits in my back pocket how cute!’, hahaha. Yeah he was again very loved there and did great. He just let is all happen, thought is was fine by him...
During his walk on Wednesday he just like his brother was more busy eating the leash than walking with us. Ah well new things are to eat is Kai’s motto, hihi!
So Friday started just like that. But eventually he found out that it was also a lot of fun to walk with us and discover new things that way. But naughty as he is he also found out that just walking up to people and look cute got him hugs so that’s what he did, hihi. But at a certain point he had enough, it became a little but too cold and too much for him. And he thankfully gave that hint great so he got back into the stroller, rolled on his side and went to sleep...
Kai is by the way completely wild about playing outside. It’s even that bad now that when he noticed that we’re getting ready to get back inside he runs away and starts to hide in to hopes of staying outside just a little bit longer. That little rascal... And when you finally get him he just starts kissing like crazy like ‘I didn’t do anything’. Awh he just still is that sweet little cutie pie...

And with that we end another chapter of the puppy diary’s. Only one more week to go, one more week all together and then it will slowly come to an end. Next week the dairy will probably come online on Friday if everything goes according to plan, probably before the first pup leaves. In the dairy of the following week you can read all about our ‘goodbyes’...
But we have another exciting week to come. There some socialization on the program and another trip to the vet for an eye exam. So it’s gonna be a pretty full and emotional and strange week for us. But we know our little ones are ready for their new adventure, we know they have a bright future ahead of them. So only one more week to go, one more week to enjoy these little ones as much as we can before they fly out into the big world!
And as everybody knows by now... For larges pics of the pictures you see here and for even more pics go to the pups page and then the photoalbum at the bottom of that page. And surf to my Youtube page to find more videoclips...

And this week as a bonus, the making-off our dairy pictures (of course with an mother who doesn't have a lot of hair left due to the pups so please don't mind that too much, hihi)!
